In the summer of 2015, we organized our very first summer camp on the campus of the University of California, Berkeley for a group of 18 students from Methodist Girls’ School, Singapore. The whole thing had come together after many months of discussion with the school on the type of academic program that they wanted their students to be involved in during their two weeks at the university and the kind of recreational activities that they should participate in during their free time. In the end, we worked with the university’s Academic Talent Development Program (ATDP) to craft a Business & Entrepreneurship program that would fit into the two short weeks we had, and that would be suitable for the budding young minds. What makes our summer program special is that, because of our collaboration with ATDP, all our students leave the program with a certificate from the university and an instructor evaluation:
